Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Find answers about the online brain consultation, hemispheric dominance profile, written report, and the Re-Wire the Brain starter.
What is the online brain consultation?
The online brain consultation is the starting point for all of our services. It combines a parent or client interview, developmental history, and a structured brain-based review using a hemispheric checklist and related functional information to identify patterns of strengths, weaknesses, and possible right- or left-hemisphere immaturity.
What is the assessment like?
The assessment is designed to look at cognitive, sensory, motor, behavioral, emotional, and functional learning patterns that may be affecting attention, regulation, coordination, communication, and school performance. It is not a school test or pass/fail evaluation; it is a functional profile used to guide the next best step.
What does the assessment include?
Depending on the case, the assessment may include a completed Childhood Neurobehavioral Hemisphere Checklist, parent observations, developmental history, and a consultation to review the current challenges and goals. From this, you receive a summary of findings and recommendations for what to do next.
What is a hemispheric dominance profile?
A hemispheric dominance profile is a structured way of looking at whether the right or left hemisphere appears functionally weaker or less mature across areas such as motor coordination, sensory processing, attention, behavior, academic skills, and emotional regulation. It helps guide which exercises, programme structure, and level of support may be most appropriate.
Will I receive a report after the consultation?
Yes. The consultation can lead to an initial written brain test report summarising the main concerns, the likely hemispheric pattern, and practical recommendations for support at home or through one of our programmes. This means the consultation has value even if you do not continue into a larger package.
Do I need a diagnosis before booking?
No. A diagnosis is not required because the consultation looks at functional development and current challenges, not just labels. Families often come with diagnoses such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, anxiety, or other neurodevelopmental concerns, but many also come simply because something feels developmentally out of balance.
Is the assessment only for children?
No. Children, teenagers, and adults can all benefit from a structured brain-based consultation, though the focus of the recommendations differs by age and goals.
How do you decide which programme is right for us?
Programme recommendations are made after the assessment, based on the brain profile, the level of support needed, family capacity, and whether online or in-person work is most realistic. This allows us to match the person to the right level of intervention instead of offering the same programme to everyone.
Are your programmes customised?
Yes. The whole point of the assessment is to identify which systems need the most support so the plan can be tailored rather than generic. Recommendations may focus more on primitive reflex integration, sensory-motor work, hemisphere stimulation, timing and rhythm, cognitive activation, or a combination of these.
What is Re-Wire the Brain?
Re-Wire the Brain is a structured brain-integration programme for children and adults designed to help strengthen weaker developmental systems through targeted home-based activities and guided support.
What is the Re-Wire the Brain starter?
The Re-Wire the Brain starter is the most accessible way to begin after the assessment. It is designed for families who want a lower-commitment next step with clear, targeted recommendations they can start implementing at home.
How much does the online consultation cost?
The online brain consultation costs 160 euro.
How much does the Re-Wire the Brain starter cost?
The Re-Wire the Brain starter costs 269 euro.
Do I have to book a full programme after the assessment?
No. The online consultation is a stand-alone professional service. You receive useful information and recommendations from it, and you can then decide whether to stop there, begin with the Re-Wire the Brain starter, or continue into a more customised programme.
Can we work with you online only?
Yes. Families can begin with the online consultation and, depending on the case, continue with home-based recommendations and online support without attending in person.
Can we still benefit if we never come in person?
Yes. Many families use the consultation findings and written recommendations to begin making changes at home, even if they never book an in-person intensive.
Is this medical treatment?
No. This is a non-medical, drug-free, brain-based developmental support service. It may complement educational, therapeutic, or medical care, but it does not replace medical supervision where that is needed.

Is this covered by insurance?
Our work is non-medical and does not provide formal diagnosis, so it is usually not covered by standard health insurance. Some families may be able to use educational or wellness-related funding, but eligibility depends on local rules and should be checked with your provider or tax adviser.
Do you need a diagnosis to be evaluated or enrol?
No diagnosis is required. Evaluation focuses on functional development and current challenges, and people may come with or without labels such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia, anxiety, or learning difficulties. The goal is to understand the pattern and guide practical support, not to replace medical diagnosis.
Can these programmes help with anxiety, attention, or school performance?
Neuro-sensory-motor and intensive programmes aim to strengthen underlying brain connectivity and developmental functions that influence attention, behaviour, learning, and emotional regulation. Results vary by person, but when the plan is followed consistently, families often report better focus, calmer regulation, and improved engagement in daily life and school.
Is this a medical or psychotherapy service?
No. These programmes are non-medical, brain-based developmental support approaches. They can sit alongside medical, psychological, and educational services, but they do not prescribe medication or provide formal psychotherapy or diagnostic evaluations.
